They are used most widely for feeding the crushers. It provide productive feeding of crusher due to rotating opposite site of vibromotors

What Are Vibrating Feeders and How Do They Work?
A vibrating feeder consists of a pan resting on springs and driven by two unbalanced vibrator motors or an eccentric exciter. The vibration conveys material along the pan; the feed rate is adjusted by motor weights, frequency or pan inclination.
On grizzly models, bars at the discharge end remove fines before they enter the crusher. The crusher then receives only material that needs crushing, increasing capacity and reducing liner wear.
Applications
- Primary feeding ahead of jaw and impact crushers
- Removing soil and fines with grizzly pre-screening
- Controlled draw-off from hoppers to conveyors
- Mobile and stationary crushing and screening plants
Selection Checklist
- Pan width must suit the crusher feed opening
- Grizzly spacing chosen for the required by-pass size
- Pan floor and sides protected with wear plates
- Springs and motor mountings sized for impact loads
Main Spare Parts for Vibrating Feeders
- Wear and pan liner plates
- Grizzly bars and feed plates
- Springs and rubber buffers
- Vibrator and electric motors
- Bearings
Frequently Asked Questions
What determines vibrating feeder capacity?
Pan width and length, inclination, vibration stroke and frequency, and the density and moisture of the material.
What is a grizzly feeder for?
It removes fines that do not need crushing, reducing crusher load and liner wear and keeping soil and clay out of the product.
