SERVICE & MAINTENANCE-REPAIR
CSP Mühendislik carries out service, maintenance and repair work on all machines used in crushing and screening plants, especially cone crushers, both at the customer’s site and in our workshop. The technical reports produced after each job let you stay in control of your equipment’s condition and carry out planned, preventive maintenance. Our service team can also advise on critical spare parts levels, and training can be provided on request.

High-quality spare parts and reliable service.
Our Service, Maintenance and Repair Services for Crushing and Screening Plants
Most failures that stop production in a crushing and screening plant come from small problems that could have been spotted earlier but were not dealt with in time. At CSP Mühendislik our aim is not just to replace the failed part, but to find the root cause, get your equipment running safely and efficiently, and prevent the next unplanned stoppage. We provide on-site and workshop service for cone crushers in particular, as well as jaw, impact and vertical shaft (VSI) crushers, vibrating screens, feeders, belt conveyors and screw washers.
At the end of every service job we prepare a technical report covering findings, measurements, parts replaced and our recommendations. You see the real condition of your equipment and can plan your maintenance budget and spare parts stock based on data.

On-Site and Workshop Service
On-site service: Our team comes to your plant with measuring and maintenance equipment and carries out wear part replacement, setting, alignment, belt splicing, fault finding and commissioning on site. The work plan is prepared around your planned shutdowns, parts are sourced in advance and downtime is kept to a minimum.
Workshop overhaul: Work that is not economical or safe to do on site (such as cone crusher head and eccentric assembly overhauls, rotor repair and balancing, bearing housing machining, bushing manufacture and crack repair) is carried out in the workshop with measurement, non-destructive testing and machining facilities. Overhauled parts are delivered with a dimensional report.
Our Service Process
- Request and initial information: We collect the equipment make, model and serial number, fault symptoms, photos and videos.
- Preliminary assessment: Possible causes and parts that may be needed are identified; sourcing of critical parts is started.
- Site inspection and measurement: Wear measurements, clearance and tolerance checks and, where needed, vibration, temperature and oil analysis are carried out.
- Work plan and quotation: The scope of work, parts list, duration and safety plan are shared.
- Execution: Safe working conditions are ensured with lockout–tagout (LOTO); dismantling, repair, assembly, setting and alignment are carried out.
- Commissioning and testing: No-load and on-load running, with temperature, vibration and setting values checked.
- Technical report: Findings, root-cause assessment, parts replaced and recommendations for the next maintenance are reported.
Planned, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance
The cost of an unplanned stoppage is far higher than the price of the part once lost production, urgent shipping and overtime are added. That is why we recommend periodic maintenance programmes and condition monitoring for your equipment:
- Wear measurement and replacement schedule: Tonnage-based life tracking for mantles, concaves, jaw plates, blow bars and screen media.
- Oil analysis: Tracking wear metals, contamination and water in cone crusher and gearbox oils.
- Vibration and temperature measurement: Early detection of bearing, gear and balance problems.
- Thermography: Detecting overheating in electrical connections, motors and bearings.
- Critical spares analysis: Identifying the parts that would stop your plant and planning the right stock level.

Mantle–Concave Replacement and Aurox Backing Application
Mantle and concave (bowl liner) replacement is one of the most frequent and most critical service jobs on cone crushers. Correct seating depends on the gap behind the parts being filled completely with a suitable backing compound. For this we use our own Aurox crusher liner backing compound, applying the mixing, temperature and pouring steps under control. For securing the eccentric bushing, Aurox eccentric liquid wedge is applied.
For the application steps, see our mantle and concave replacement guide and crusher backing compound guide.
Why CSP Mühendislik?
- Design and manufacturing know-how: As a manufacturer of crushing and screening equipment, we understand how machines work and how they fail at design level.
- Spare parts and service together: We plan the necessary wear and mechanical parts together with the service, shortening waiting times.
- Root-cause approach: To stop the same failure recurring, we look at lubrication, feeding, setting and assembly causes together.
- Reporting and training: We provide a technical report after every job and, on request, train your operators and maintenance teams.
- Occupational safety: We apply lockout–tagout, safe lifting and permit-to-work procedures on every job.
Common Faults and Quick Reference Guides
- Rising oil temperature or falling oil pressure on a cone crusher → Crusher lubrication unit maintenance
- Frequent tramp release and setting drift on a cone crusher → Hydraulic cylinders and tramp release system
- Heat and bronze particles in the eccentric area → Eccentric and eccentric bushing maintenance
- Knocking and toggle plate breakage on a jaw crusher → Toggle plate and seats
- Vibration on an impact crusher → Rotor balancing and repair
- Bearing overheating on a screen → Bearing selection and failure analysis
- Belt mistracking and spillage on a conveyor → Conveyor idlers, belt scrapers
- Gearbox overheating and oil leaks → Gearbox maintenance

Frequently Asked Questions
Which makes and models of equipment do you service?
As well as equipment we manufacture ourselves, we service cone, jaw, impact and vertical shaft crushers, screens and conveyors of different makes and models. Sending your equipment make, model and serial number speeds up the assessment.
What information should I prepare before a service visit?
Equipment details, fault symptoms, recent maintenance dates, parts replaced, photos and videos, and any temperature, pressure and oil analysis records make the preliminary assessment easier.
Should an overhaul be done in the workshop or on site?
Wear part replacement, setting and alignment are usually done on site; precision machining, balancing, crack repair and major assembly overhauls are done in the workshop. The decision is made together based on scope, downtime and cost.
Can you train our maintenance team?
Yes. On request, we can provide hands-on training in equipment operation, wear monitoring, lubrication, safe part replacement and fault diagnosis.
